Samsung has introduced Samsung Knox, a security and device management platform. Thai Samsung Electronics Co wants to expand to mobile enterprise solutions to take advantage of opportunities in a mobile-driven economy. It uses the Samsung Knox platform, featuring device and security management software integrated with the chipset built into Samsung devices. Samsung Knox helps businesses control devices through authentication of users, erasing confidential data on mobile devices remotely if devices are lost or stolen. For example, Singapore's main airport uses Samsung wearable devices with mobile SIMs for communication, replacing walkie-talkies to increase worker safety.
